Health, Safety & Wellbeing: creating a visual identity that connects.
Telstra needed a distinctive visual identity for its Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) programs that aligned with its evolving brand while making the initiatives easy for employees to recognise and engage with.
Working collaboratively, we developed a friendly, colourful icon system and a set of visual identity guidelines that brought the three core pillars of the program to life. Each icon was designed to communicate a key area at a glance: a doctor with a stethoscope for Health, a worker wearing a hard hat for Safety, and a person wearing a flower for Wellbeing.
The identity was designed to be flexible enough to work across a wide range of communications and touchpoints while remaining instantly recognisable. At the same time, it provided a clear visual distinction from other Telstra business units, giving the HSW program its own cohesive presence within the broader organisation.
The result was a consistent and engaging visual language that unified multiple initiatives under a single trusted identity, increased awareness of the programs, and made it easier for employees to recognise and connect with the support available to them.
